I am fueled by a deep sense of curiosity and a fascination with the wonders of science. Exploring the intricacies of nature and grasping the scientific principles that govern it ignites my passion for research.
The presence of fluids in our everyday lives captivates my interest in Fluid Mechanics! The way fluids interact with our environment and the underlying physics makes it a vital area of research that I’m eager to explore further in my advanced studies. Recently, I've become particularly fascinated by the microscopic realm and the significance of Fluid Mechanics at that scale. I enjoy tackling fluid mechanics challenges, whether they involve small or large systems.
I received my B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering from ASTU (Guwahati, India) in 2017. Following this, I received my MS (by research) in Energy from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati in 2020. Presently, I am a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru under Prof. Saptarshi Basu.
I was awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) to carry out my research at IISc, Bengaluru for a period of three years (2022-2024) during my PhD program.
