I am driven by curiosity and a fascination with the science that governs the world around us. Fluid mechanics particularly interests me because fluids are an integral part of everyday life, and their interactions with the environment often lead to rich and fascinating physics. I enjoy exploring fluid mechanics problems across different length and time scales, from large-scale multiphase flows to microscale phenomena.

My research journey has gradually expanded from vortex dynamics and multiphase flows to microfluidics and biological systems. Going forward, I am particularly interested in exploring two broad areas: mechanobiology at small scales, focusing on how fluidic and mechanical stresses influence cellular and bacterial behaviour, and multiphase turbulence, focusing on the dynamics and interactions of vortices, droplets, particles, and interfaces.

I received my B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering from ASTU (Guwahati, India) in 2017, followed by an MS (by Research) in Energy from IIT Guwahati in 2020. I am currently pursuing my PhD in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru, under the guidance of Prof. Saptarshi Basu.

I was also awarded the prestigious Prime Minister's Research Fellowship (PMRF) to pursue my doctoral research at IISc, Bengaluru.
