Shuyin Ouyang (欧阳澍崟)

About me

I am a Computer Science Ph.D. Candidate funded by the UKRI Centre for Doctoral Training in Safe and Trusted Artificial Intelligence at King’s College London. My PhD research is supervised by Dr Jie M. Zhang, Dr Albert Meroño-Peñuela, and Prof. Yulan He. My interest lies in Software Engineering and AI research to improve software trustworthiness, especially LLM4Code.

• Nov 8th 2025, our paper "DSCodeBench: A Realistic Benchmark for Data Science Code Generation" (by Shuyin Ouyang, Dong Huang, Jingwen Guo, Zeyu Sun, Qihao Zhu, Jie M. Zhang) was accepted by AAAI 2026 as a poster.

• Nov 7th 2025, Shuyin Ouyang won the STAI CDT poster prize at the UKRI Inter AI CDT Conference

• Oct 3rd 2025, From Code Generation to Knowledge-Enhanced Program Repair: Shuyin Ouyang’s Research Makes an Impact 

• Jan 19th 2025, our paper "Knowledge-Enhanced Program Repair for Data Science Code" (by Shuyin Ouyang, Jie M. Zhang, Zeyu Sun, Albert Merono Penuela) is accepted by ICSE 2025.

• Aug 4th 2025, I started my NLP Research Internship at ELM Europe. My topic focuses on Reinforcement Learning on Diffusion Language Model for Code Generation.

• Aug 23rd 2024, our paper "An Empirical Study of the Non-determinism of ChatGPT in Code Generation" (by Shuyin Ouyang, Jie M. Zhang, Mark Harman, Meng Wang) has been accepted by ACM TOSEM.
