PSEO - St. Cloud Technical and Community College

SCTCC Application Process

  1. Review the PSEO page on SCTCC's website.

  2. Meet with your School Counselor to discuss requirements. You must be on track to graduate and must be recommended by your School Counselor for the program. We suggest a minimum 2.0 overall GPA in order to be successful in the program based on past student's participation.

  3. Program Deadlines Complete files (application, registration form, transcripts, test scores as required) must be received or postmarked by program deadlines (May 1 for fall enrollment; November 1 for spring enrollment). Any student submitting forms or test scores after the posted deadlines will not be considered for PSEO enrollment.

  4. Students seeking to enroll in the PSEO program at SCTCC must submit the three items listed below. Complete a and c and bring to the counseling office. We will print the high school transcript. Please pay attention to the above deadlines and give the Counseling Office at least 1 week to complete our part and get it in the mail.

a. Complete the online application and select "PSEO Student"

b. An official high school/home school transcript

c. A current 2022-2023 Notice of Student Registration form

Before we mail your application, you must also complete the Student Contract Form and the Email/Contact Form

  1. Meet with your counselor to review graduation requirements and what types of courses align with our graduation requirements.

  2. Pay attention to all mail and email communications you receive from the college as there will be pertinent information regarding signing up for orientation, academic advising and registering for classes.

  3. Remember if you are a full-time PSEO student, you will not receive a school issued computer.

  4. Provide a copy of your schedule to your counselor at SHS immediately after registration.

  5. If you are struggling in your classes, meet with your PSEO Advisor first and let your School Counselor know. We want to make sure that your ability to graduate is not at risk.

  6. Provide a copy of your grades to your School Counselor upon completion of each semester as this information needs to be added to your High School transcript.
