Welcome to the Backstage Crew for Shrek Jr!
Crew Assignments:
Thank you for filling out the interest form. Based on your responses, we have assigned you to a pre-show crew and a tech week/performance crew. The pre-show crews will meet a handful of times in December and early January to build sets + props, plan set changes, lights, and sound, or assist in creating + assigning costumes. The tech week/performance crews will join the cast for rehearsal and performances in mid-late January.

The parent volunteer leaders for set + props creation and costuming will be in touch soon about when they will need your help.
Parent Volunteers:
It truly takes a village to put on a show like this. If you, as a parent, would like to help with sets + prop creation, we would love to hear from you! Please reach out to me (Director: Kate Kingery) and I will put you in touch with Dianna Gonzalez who will be leading our set + prop creation.
Backstage Assignments:
Participation Fee
We are asking for a suggested backstage participation fee of $65. Scholarships are available.
This fee will help to pay for purchasing additional equipment (mics), renting spotlights and additional lighting needs, purchasing costume items, props, and supplies for creating sets, along with replacing anything that is damaged. The hope is to make the program sustainable in the long term.
All students who register, audition, and participate in rehearsals will be included and will not be differentiated in any way because of payment. The only difference is account keeping for the PTSA. Remember to enter the name of the child participating as part of your payment to help us track the payments. Thank you!
