Callbacks:

Callbacks are follow up auditions that help the directors get to know performers better and cast them in specific roles.

• Wednesday 2:45-5pm Dance Call ALL CALLED  

  1. • 5pm-6pm Singing Callback - Select Performers Called

• Thursday 4pm-6pm - Acting Callback

• Friday 4pm-6pm - Singing Callback

The full callback schedule is listed below. We recommend that performers read the synopsis and begin to learn the callback materials for roles in which they expressed interest. If performers are called back for multiple roles, we encourage them to learn as much of the material as possible, but they can also focus energy on their preferred role. 

While scenes and songs do not need to be memorized, they can be in performers choose. When working on a scene or song to know the answers to the following questions:

• Who am I talking to and what is our relationship?

• How do I feel about this situation?

• Where am I and why?

• What happened the moment before the scene or song started?

Remember to have fun! This is your opportunity to try on the different roles! Below are a few callback tips:

• Embody the character

• Listen to and connect with other performers when they are onstage with you 

• Remember everyone wants you to be your best self and we're cheering for you!
