I am behavioral ecologist testing waters with genomics right now. I graduated from IISER Mohali with a major in Biological Sciences and a minor in Science Education. In my spare time, I enjoy anime and a good cup of tea! :)
Hi, I am a physics graduate who found her way into biology and decided to stay. These days, I work on everything from theoretical ecology and experimental evolution in bacteria to antifungal resistance and genomics. My favourite pastime is literature review, not just the scientific kind. You can always count on me for going on a walk, discussing your favourite show and socialising with all the neighbourhood dogs.
I'm a marine biotechnology graduate currently working in AMR surveillance and making an ongoing attempt to learn long-read WGS. I'm fascinated by all things human–microbe interactions, microbial ecology, and evolution.
When I'm not in the lab, I'm usually catching up on sleep or my ridiculously long watchlist. I doodle now and then, too
I graduated from IISER Bhopal in 2024, majoring in Biology. I'm currently working on the experimental evolution of microbes, learning microbiology & occasionally dabbling in genomics. I am fascinated by the power of the tiny microbes all around us, and curious about how communities of bacteria communicate within themselves, & interact and modulate the workings of their host.
When I'm not working, I enjoy experimenting with food, travelling and learning languages!
I hold a Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from Bharati Vidyapeeth University, Pune. Currently, I work on developing and implementing software solutions that support Antimicrobial Stewardship Programs (AMSP) in hospital settings, with a focus on improving antimicrobial use, enhancing clinical decision-making, and strengthening patient safety through digital healthcare solutions. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending quality time with family and friends, exploring new destinations, and embracing opportunities to travel.
