Student reflections

Here are some tools to support learners to reflect. This process is helpful for them to become more independent and for you to see their thinking.

  • Flipgrid - A tool that allows students to easily respond to a prompt or question. Give them a question or sentence stem to start.

  • Vocaroo - A web-based digital recorder that allows them to record their voice and send you a link to access.

  • Kahoot - Quizzes, games, and polls.

  • Quizlet - A quiz building platform with pre-loaded content.

  • Stoplight reflection - A quick reflection to identify

    • Red: what stopped my learning?

    • Yellow: what questions do I still have?

    • Green: what am I excited about?
