While the show is “live” 24 hours a day, we will be holding virtual hours from 10am – 6pm EST, Monday – Wednesday. We suggest trying to be available during those times so that you may be present for any buyer communication, and so that you may watch some of our live programming. All content – editorial, videos and live-streamed events – are open to all, and can be viewed on our main homepage at www.shoppeobject.com. Please feel free to share the link to our website widely.
Shoppe Online is not a direct translation of our physical trade show to an online experience. There is no way to replicate that face-to-face engagement we know and love over a 72 hour period in New York City on the internet, and you should think of Shoppe Online less as a 'trade show' that delivers high-density traffic and order-writing within a few short days, and more as a six-month nexus of lead generation, community engagement, and order management. The launch dates will include an editorial punch, designed to draw eyes to all of the newness and vibrancy of the season. From that point forward the Shoppe Object team will continue to deliver content designed to keep people coming back for more… more discovery, more talks, more product roundups, more profiles, and more commerce. Shoppe Online is a season-long platform; it’s work begins on August 2, but it’s true benefit is in its never-closed, ongoing opportunity to connect great brands with top-tier buyers and savvy consumers, any day of the week and at any time, day or night.
We have found that our most successful brands take the following actions:
Submit high-quality marketing images early, and often throughout the entire season. We cannot consider brands for promotion without these critical tools!!!
Write engaging copy for their brand profile as well as for their products, to illustrate the uniqueness of their offerings.
Provide clear information on terms, pricing and lead times.
Create a video that gives a glimpse into their story, location, method of production and/or core ethos.
Promote their involvement in Shoppe Online through their own channels, including email lists, direct mail and social media, throughout the season.
Encourage transaction on the site, for easy ordering and reordering.
Reach out to buyers with orders in draft mode to see if they have any questions, or to offer additional information about the products selected.
Reach out to buyers who have bookmarked products to see if they can help put a sample order together for consideration.
Research store names that have viewed their Collection page, and reach out with friendly hellos or to offer samples.
Keep buyers updated who have confirmed and fulfilled purchase orders, each step of the way. We recommend saying hello once an order has been received, updating the buyer on ship times and tracking information, and following up after receipt.

Only vetted buyers may view these pages after they log in.
The Marketplace
Only vetted buyers will be able to view the full Marketplace and all prices after they log in.
Brands will be able to view the Marketplace, search and view other products, however all pricing will be hidden.

Technical support is offered 10AM - 6PM EST, Monday - Friday with enchanced hours the week before and the week of the Launch.
The site has been optimized for Chrome and Firefox, we reccomend using these browsers for best results. While the site has also been optimized for mobile and iPad, the order writing feature is optimized for iPads or Laptops, so for best results we encourage these over mobile devices when scanning buyer QR codes and writing orders at the show.
All pricing throughout the site is in $US Dollars. If you usually work with another currency, you will need to exchange your prices at the time of listing. If you are using Stripe to process payment, that will also be in US dollars.
Shoppe Online does not currently offer any features for inventory tracking. However brands are able to connect Shoppe Online to their existing Order Management System. Please note that there is an additional cost invovled to do this. If you are interested, please contact hello@shoppeobject.com
Payment for participation is due no later than January 7, 2021. In order to receive our login information, each brand must be paid in full and have returned a signed agreement. Please reach out to Renata@shoppeobject.com for more information.
Brands may assign one representative as their Showroom rep. Showroom reps will receive all of the same email notifications that the brand receives (click here for more information on notifications). Showroom reps will need to use the same username and password as the brand in order to log in and view orders, analytics, and attend video chats etc. Please note that multiple people may all be logged in to the same brand account at the same time with no issue.
Buyers may apply here. For US buyers, a TAX ID is required.
After they have applied, a staff member will review their information to determine that they are a legitmate buyer. After approval, they will receive a link to sign up and create a profile. Buyers are usually approved within 24 hours during the Live Event and within 1-3 business days after the Live Event.
Denied buyers will be alerted and either asked to provide additional information or politely declined admittance.

While buyers are encouraged to complete their profile, they are not required to fill out everything. If a buyers profile is lacking in information, you may always reach out to them to learn more about them before deciding to work together.
Due to privacy, Shoppe Object does not share buyer contact details or lists of buyers with Brands. We are happy to share a highlight of some previous guest Stores below. Anyone attempting to sell a list of buyers is fradulent. Brands will receive buyer personal emails only when a buyer chooses to do so.
