Senota was previously known as ShopList Calc. These Terms of Service reflect Senota's current features and practices, and supersede any prior terms published under the ShopList Calc name.
By downloading, installing, or using Senota ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please discontinue use of the App.
1. License to Use
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on your device, including for business and commercial purposes, in accordance with its intended function as a transaction calculator, digital receipt tool, and customer record keeper for small businesses.
2. App Functionality
The App is a "tape"-style shopping calculator and digital receipt tool that helps you record items, prices, quantities, payments, and receipts, and optionally link them to customer information for record-keeping purposes. The App is a calculation and record-keeping aid; you are responsible for verifying the accuracy of every calculation, transaction record, and customer information you enter. We are not liable for any errors or losses arising from reliance on the App's results.
3. User Data and Backups
All your data is stored locally on your device. You may create backups either stored internally within the App or shared externally to a destination of your choice (e.g., Google Drive, WhatsApp). You are solely responsible for creating, storing, and securing your backups. We are not liable for data loss caused by app deletion, device failure, uninstallation, or mismanagement of backup files, whether stored internally or shared externally.
4. Locked Transactions
Once a payment is saved for a transaction, that transaction is permanently locked and can no longer be edited. This is intentional, to preserve the integrity and accuracy of your records. Please review your entries carefully before saving a payment.
5. In-App Purchases
The App offers in-app purchases (Pro features). Purchases are processed entirely through Google Play Billing. All purchases are subject to Google Play's terms, and refunds follow Google Play's policies. We do not collect, see, or store your payment card details.
6. Advertising
The free version of the App may display advertisements in the future as the App evolves. If implemented, continued use of the free version will constitute consent to the display of such ads. Any changes to this practice will be reflected by updating these Terms.
7. Prohibited Use
You agree not to: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App; (b) use the App for any unlawful purpose; (c) redistribute or resell the App without permission.
8. Intellectual Property
The App, including its logo, design, and code, is the property of the developer and protected by applicable law.
9. Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any direct or indirect damages arising from use of the App, including but not limited to loss of business data, transaction records, or customer information.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time as the App's features evolve. The latest version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
