Senota was previously known as ShopList Calc. This Privacy Policy reflects Senota's current features and data practices, and supersedes any prior policy published under the ShopList Calc name.
Senota ("we", "our", "the app") is developed by Monoliths. This Privacy Policy explains how Senota handles information when you use the app.
1. Data We Collect
Senota stores the following information locally on your device:
Transaction/receipt data (items, prices, quantities, discounts, payment method)
Customer information you choose to enter: name, phone number, city, and photo
Store branding information: store name, address, logo
App settings and preferences
We do not operate a server, and we do not transmit, collect, or have access to any of this data. All information stays on your device unless you choose to share or back it up yourself.
2. Permissions We Use
Camera: used only when you choose to take a photo (e.g., for a customer's photo or a product image). Senota does not access your camera without your action.
Biometric (fingerprint/face): used only if you enable the Lock File or Hide File feature, to authenticate access to protected receipts. Biometric data is processed by your device's operating system; Senota never receives or stores your biometric data directly.
Senota does not request broad access to your photo gallery or device storage. Selecting images is handled through your device's built-in picker, which only shares the specific file you choose.
3. Backup & Restore
Senota lets you back up your data into a ZIP file, either:
Stored internally within the app, accessible only through Senota; or
Shared externally (e.g., to Google Drive, WhatsApp, or other apps of your choice) via your device's share feature.
Once a backup file is shared externally, it is stored and managed by the destination service or app you chose, outside of Senota's control. You are responsible for keeping externally shared backups secure.
4. Third-Party Services
Senota uses Google Play Billing to process in-app purchases (Pro features). Payment information is handled entirely by Google Play; Senota does not collect, see, or store your payment details.
5. Data Security
Because your data stays on your device, its security depends in part on your device's own security (screen lock, OS updates, etc.). Senota provides optional Lock File and Hide File features to add an extra layer of protection for sensitive receipts.
6. Children's Privacy
Senota is intended for business use and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Senota's features evolve. Significant changes will be reflected by updating the Effective Date above.
