The mission of the Shoal Creek Serves Committee is to provide our Shoal Creek Elementary School students and families with community service volunteer opportunities that will reinforce the leadership and life skills lessons that they are learning through The Leader In Me Program.

At Shoal Creek, we believe that every child can be a leader. Through the Shoal Creek Serves Committee, we reinforce this belief by providing service learning opportunities that encourage our students to become leaders in their community.

Family Packs PROgram

Approximately 19% of all students who attend Liberty Public Schools receive free or reduced-price meals through the National School Lunch Program. These same students and their families often don’t have enough food to eat at home or on the weekends.

Shoal Creek Serves is partnering with Liberty North High School to provide 50+ Liberty school district families with Family Packs. These Family Packs include groceries for two meals to be provided to families twice each month of the school year.

Each month, Shoal Creek Serves hosts several “Pack Nights” during which students and their families have the opportunity to volunteer to sort food donations, pack Family Packs, and become leaders in our community!

Look for Pack Night sign-ups, donation needs, and updates in Star Notes, PTA emails, and on the Serves Facebook page! You can also find the links for donations and pack nights below! On Pack Nights, volunteer students and their parents should report to the entryway between the cafeteria and gymnasium. A brief orientation will begin promptly at 6:15 PM.
