Other Interests
Mother Nature's lap is the most comfy place to find what you are interested in!
Reading
Comics: If you haven't been able to read comics during your childhood, then you really have missed some real good things!
Walt Disney: Uncle Scrooge, Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Super Goof, Moby Duck, Gladstone Gandor, Beagle Boys (I love them all!)
Lee Falk: The Phantom, Mandrake the Magician
Classics Illustrated: All of them were and still remain a real hit!
Others: Asterix, Tintin, Blondie, Lucky Luke, James Bond, Modesty Blaise
Novels:
Loved reading novels in my younger days - Sudden (Wild West Series by Oliver Strange), Frederick Forsythe: The Day of the Jackal, The Odessa File, The Dogs of War, ... Alistair MacLean's novels, ..., Leon Uris - Battle Cry, The Angry Hills, ... Novels by James Hadley Chase and many more!
Of late, when I get time I try to catch up reading books written by Ian Stewart.
Short Stories:
Leo Tolstoy's How much land does a Man Need, What men live by, Elias as also R.L. Stevenson's The Bottle Imp still remain my favorites.
I love to travel. Travel is that potion which makes one humbler. Click Wanderlust to see a small cache of my photograph collection.
Click on Poems to read some poems written on the spur of the moment, a long time ago.
Painting
There was a time when I used to draw and paint a bit. But now these skills seem to have left me. Intend to revive and hone them soon (some pasted below), i.e. if my older self allows!
The background is that of a Botch - a bird that was botched (mutant) in evolution which could stupefy, even Darwin! :-)
