ArtsComeOnline was a platform for performing artists to share their work and knowledge with an audience digitally. Using the opportunity presented by the lockdown, I used my knowledge of Arts Marketing, Event Planning and Curation to single-handedly run this project. I was able to host about 20 well-attended events and approximately 50 artists from India with participation from the US, UK, France, Singapore, and Peru. My role included guiding the performers with the content of the performance as well as gathering the right audiences for each online event. I am especially proud of my collaboration with screendance filmmaker Sumedha Bhattacharya, cultural programmer Arshiya Sethi and dancer Aditi Mangaldas. ArtsComeOnline helped host the Tomoe Arts (Canada) symposium on ‘Redefining the Contemporary’ with artists like Divya Ravi (UK), Sanjukta Wagh (India), and Kattaikuttu Sangam (India).
