Heritage Stables Inc., located in Merrickville, is a family-owned equestrian facility operated by Jake and Katy Drummond, offering horse boarding, riding lessons, horse training, and summer farm camps in a welcoming environment for riders of all ages and skill levels. They are also proud hosts of the annual Fall for Merrickville event featuring 100+ vendors, live music, wagon rides, great food, and this year’s special attraction — the Super Dogs. Heritage Stables is proud to support the Shilo Riding Club and its riders throughout the 2026 show season.

Pleasant Ridge Saddlery was started by Lloyd and Sharon Cleaves, in the basement of their home in Brantford in the 1980's. Our first store was located on the family horse farm and moved to our Colborne St. West location in 1993. In the fall of 2012, the store moved to 754 Colborne Street West in Brantford. Pleasant Ridge's goal is to serve the English and Western Rider and we continue to grow our selection to accommodate each discipline of rider. Our new store will allow us to grow our line-up and give the Canadian equine enthusiast the ultimate shopping experience.
