An independently owned Ottawa family business, Apple Saddlery opened its doors in 1972 selling horse riding equipment and rider’s clothing. Pleasant Ridge Saddlery was started by Lloyd and Sharon Cleaves, in the basement of their home in Brantford in the 1980's. Our first store was located on the family horse farm and moved to our Colborne St. West location in 1993. In the fall of 2012, the store moved to 754 Colborne Street West in Brantford. Pleasant Ridge's goal is to serve the English and Western Rider and we continue to grow our selection to accommodate each discipline of rider. Our new store will allow us to grow our line-up and give the Canadian equine enthusiast the ultimate shopping experience.
