TruKids

TruKids happens during regular worship on weeks when there is no Communion. After the Offertory, kids age 4 through 5th grade move to the CEC auditorium for a fun, new way of doing "Sunday School" by Christian publisher, David C. Cook. They receive biblical instruction and life application through story, video, and song. Teen helpers run the video. Amy creates the slideshow to fit the lesson plans. Anyone interested in taking a turn teaching, please let us know!

Light-Up Night

All committees work together during Shiloh's Live Nativity on Light-up Night. Christian Ed. helps out by providing a Christmas craft and coloring room for little ones, as well as a Nativity video that plays in the reception room. Janet Sidelinger heads up this fun activity.

Christmast Pageant

The Children's Christmas Pageant program is usually presented on the third or fourth Sunday of Advent. Toddler, kids, and teens spend several weeks working on their message about God's special gift to the world. Chrissy Keebler has been enjoying the role of pageant director for the past few years.

Vacation Bible School

During one week in June, all of Shiloh campus is filled with preschoolers through adults being excited about VBS. For four and a half hours, including dinner, we sing, dance, play, craft, and discover how our lives are changed when we have a personal relationship with Jesus. We take the kids to Elk Towers to present songs to the residents and end our week with an indoor family picnic and song presentation. Shiloh has used the Lifeway curriculum for several years. Recent VBS directors are Amy Belovesick and Chrissy Keebler, but there are over 50 adults and teens who devote the week to over 50 community kids ages 2 through grade 5.
