Breadin' went through processes of:
- User Research, Interviews and Main design goals
- Logo Design
- Mascot Design
- Paper Prototype, Lo-Fi and Hi-Fi
- Final Prototype
Unlike Tiny Rabbit Hole's design goals, this project was focused more on researching user needs and creating an app. So, it was innovative and user-intuitive planned research of an app creation.
Where interview questions were prepared and feedbacks were highlighted to determine the main design goals of the app.
Ideation phase of 20 sketches of the logo and picking 3 to work on in Adobe Illustrator.
Where I was involved in:
Logo design
Mascot design
Ideation and brainstorming
Prototyping of ideas on screens
Creating a mascot named "Cinnamon" that was friendly and helpful to the user, we chose the Bernese dog, which is known to be patient, calm, and affectionate.
As we wanted "Cinnamon" to be a loyal companion who will answer all of the user’s questions in a personal way, we feel that a Bernese Mountain dog will best align with what we are going for.
Logo design and mascot design of breadin'
And the final part was to paper prototype, Lo-fi and Hi-fi prototype of Breadin, showcasing of Dashboard, For you, Explore and Calender. Where the app provides financial tracking to show if the user is over their intial set budget. Where video, article tips and algorithm content are presented to the user to view and bookmark, assisting them in progressively easing into adulting.

Refining the user testers we interviewed from app researching and user problems like "No Signal".
By getting the same group of users to test and observe their flows and listen to their feedback, we were able to improve the intuitiveness and design of prototype to be user-friendly and informative.
With my project mates' ideation and expertize in research, clean design, prototyping and styling every aspect of the app, breadin' was created!
