Hospitality Events

Sheridan Hills has many opportunities throughout the year to express our appreciation for the awesome people who help make our community strong!

Coordinator: Sarah Tellijohn

Bus Tags and Bus Riding

Sheridan Hills PTO helps assure new and younger students (PreK- 2) disembark at their correct bus stops on the first day of school. First, Bus Tag Helpers color coordinate tags to make it easier for teachers and staff to identify the correct bus route for students. Then, Bus Rider parent volunteers ride a school bus route to help the students find their stops.

Bus Tag Helpers meet the first day of school in the office at 9:00AM. Bus Rider Volunteers meet by 2:30PM. Buses do not return to Sheridan Hills, so volunteers must coordinate their own way home.

School Picture Day

Come help our kids look their best for picture day! Help the Lifetouch photographers manage the hordes, collect order forms and get those kids to S.M.I.L.E!

Remember: Volunteers get a voucher for a free package of pictures!

Fall and Spring Teacher Conference Dinner

Help support the hard work of our teachers and staff by donating items to a planned menu for conference dinners in the fall and winter.

Bus Driver Appreciation

Plan a fun appreciation day for our hard-working bus drivers. Show them how much we appreciate the care they take of our their little passengers.

Teacher and Staff Appreciation

The first week in May is Staff and Teacher Appreciation week, and we love celebrating our AWESOME school heroes every day of the week!

Volunteer Appreciation

The third week in April is Volunteer Appreciation Day, and we take full advantage of showing our hard working volunteers how grateful we are for all they do for our school!
