Example of Applied Ethics

In class, we discussed different types of ethics including applied ethics. Here we analyzed a common ethical issue involving the trolly train problem. The issue is the deciding of whether to kill one person or five people. But the variables can change depending on the problem. Most people would choose to save multiple lives over one, but the choice can change depending on multiple factors. For example, what if the one person was a loved one? Or you? Due to these elements, it's obvious it can become complicated and complex.
