MULCH

A cedar-based mulch blend made from shredded cedar bark.  It adds an attractive and fragrant layer to your garden while suppressing weed growth and retaining moisture in the soil.  Cedar mulch also naturally repels insects and fungi, making it an excellent choice for both aesthetic and practical purposes.

COMMON USES:

Cedar mulch has a variety of applications in landscaping and gardening.  It can be used as a decorative ground cover to add colour and texture to flower beds, pathways, and other outdoor areas.  It also provides a pleasing cedar scent that can enhance the ambiance of your garden.  It is a natural weed suppressant that reduces the need for herbicides and other harmful chemicals.  It knits together well to help retain soil moisture, reducing the frequency of watering and helping plants to stay healthy and hydrated.

A cedar- and pine-based mulch.  Our coloured mulches are extremely popular and a good way to boost the curb appeal of your property.  They are finer in size than our natural mulch & made up of only virgin fibres.  Coloured mulches do not enrich the soil or add beneficial bacteria & nitrogen, as natural mulches do.

COMMON USES:

Coloured mulches will help retain soil moisture & help protect plants during the winter.  Dyed mulches break down much slower than natural mulches.  One yard of mulch at 3” depth will cover about 100 sq. ft. of area.
