CSIT 101 Semester Reflection

This class has been one of my favorites throughout my freshman year of college with a awesome professor! I found the course load to be a bit time consuming while playing college baseball. Although it is not overwhelming at all just complete your work in this class and follow the module directions. The lessons in this course provided me with skills that will help me in now and in the future. I learned about digital communication, hardware and networking, the web and the cloud, software and apps, databases, digital literacy, security and safety, social and digital media, digital ethics, and emerging technologies. These modules and topics helped me create a better understanding of technology and how the world uses it and how I will now use it differently now. Throughout the semester I have also developed skills for (Word) that will help with my writing assignments, notes, and research papers. (PowerPoint) that has allowed me to learn how to be efficient, creative, and create eye catching presentations. (Excel) that has taught me how to create cells, use math for accurate numbers, adding charts, and use shortcuts to be more efficient in my work. I learned how to utilize OneDrive and its effectiveness when folders are organized nicely into correct categories. This website was a blast to create and made me realize that designing my own website is awesome and I can make one for the little lawn cutting business I have to get my business out to the people . Overall, my experience with this class was great and I would take a class like this again with professor Noone.
