Marketing Representative

Job summary

The Marketing Representative will create and distribute positive branding messages and

collateral for the company’s products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and complete field marketing campaigns after conducting preliminary research

• Develop robust knowledge of all product lines/services

• Produce various literature, signage, merchandise, and other materials to be used at field marketing events

• Maintain relationships with third-party vendors and venues

• Negotiate with retailers and other third-party partners on promotional display and merchandise placement

• Promote business expansion opportunities to retailers and other merchants through successful field marketing programs

• Attend relevant trade shows and events

• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities

• Manage social media activity surrounding field marketing campaigns

• Track expenses in an organized fashion

• Report weekly/monthly on the status of field marketing activities

• Document and share lead/customer intelligence with sales team.

Job specification

Education and Experience:

• Graduate or Undergraduate in Marketing, Statistics, Business, or related field required.

• One to three years of related experience in business, promotional sales, customer service, or related field. (optional)

Skills:

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Excellent sales and customer service skills.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.

Job evaluation

According to national civil payscale 2015 in Bangladesh this job is 7th -grade job and the basic salary for this job starts from 15000 and up to 26200 Taka. It includes also

travelling expenses (20% of the base salary),

house rent allowance (15% of the base salary),

provident fund (8% of the base salary),

festival bonus (20% of the base salary) and

medical allowance (15% of the base salary) etc.
