Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare general ledger entries and maintain balanced reconciliations.
Reconcile company credit cards monthly and organize all supporting documentation.
Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data.
Perform the processing of monthly journal entry including accruals, amortization of prepaid
expenses, and recording of adjusting and reclassification of journal entries, if necessary.
Assist Accounting Manager with analysing preliminary financial statements for additional general journals that may have been missed.
Receive sales proceeds from medical promotion officer and deposit the same with bank after checking documents.
Preform other accounting duties as needed.
Assist the Accounting Manager with annual 1099’s.
Prepare process memos and job duties descriptions as needed.
Assist Accounting Manager in developing and implementing new accounting procedures as needed.
Job Specifications:
Education: University graduate with BBA/MBA degree or undergraduate in any discipline preferable Accounting and Finance background.
Experience: At least three years’ experience in accounting and financial reporting. (optional)
Age: 21-35 years
Specialized knowledge/ Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to work in high-pressure situations. Having General knowledge of policies and practices involved in accounting functions.
Training: Strong MS Office skills including Word, Excel and PowerPoint will be useful.
Well organized and complete assigned duties in a timely manner.
Strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.

Job evaluation:
According to national civil payscale 2015 in Bangladesh this job is 8th -grade job and the basic salary for this job starts from 12000 and up to 21600 Taka. It includes also
travelling expenses (8% of the base salary),
house rent allowance (10% of the base salary),
provident fund (4% of the base salary),
festival bonus (20% of the base salary) and
medical allowance (10% of the base salary) etc.
