Pre-K 4 & Kindergarten: Sacred Heart will not offer Pre-K 4/Kindergarten class for the 2020-2021 school year. Grades 1st – Confirmation: Sundays from 9:15AM – 10:15AM and online.
We will start classes a littler later this year, beginning on September 20th. Please note our ability to do so is dependent upon the directives from the officials at the Archdiocese of San Antonio.
Sacred Heart supports parents in offering instruction in the faith, including sacramental instruction.
Three options for classes: In-person class, online or a hybrid model. In person- RE classes will be offered on Sundays from 9:15AM – 10:15AM.
Grades 1-8:
Students in grades 1-8 will be enrolled in the “Faith and Life” online program through MYCATHOLICFAITHDELIVERED and will be expected to complete the year by May 3, 2021. This interactive program includes readings, music, games and activities.
In - Person Class: This option is available on a first come, first serve basis. The Sacred Heart CCD program can only accommodate the same number of students as the Sacred Heart School classrooms offer. In-person classes will be taught in a reverse classroom method with the children having completed their chapter and homework before coming to class. Catechists will review the chapter as well as teach additional concepts and information.
Online/Homeschool: These courses are asynchronous/self paced: however, the students are expected to work on chapters weekly. A catechist will be assigned to each grade to track assignments, communicate with students/parents, and assist remotely as needed.
Hybrid Model: Students will work online on chapters weekly and attend an in-person class periodically for unit reviews and prayer testing. A catechist will be assigned to track online assignments, communicate with students/parents and assist remotely as needed.
Grades 9-10:
Students in grades 9-10 will be enrolled in the study program Chosen: This Your Catholic Faith and will be expected to complete the year by May 3, 2021. This study program includes online videos, workbooks and activities.

A catechist will be assigned to track assignments, communicate with students/parents, and assist remotely as needed.

Students in Sacramental Preparation 2 Class will be enrolled in Believe Celebrate Live Reconciliaiton and Eucharist and will be expected to complete the year by May 3, 2020. The program includes readings, activities and discussions.

Tuition for all three groups are the same.
$35 for one child.
$70 for two children.
$90 for three or more children.
Volunteers: Volunteers are needed for the 2020-2021 school year in person and/or online are needed.
