First Picture I ever took as a Soldier
My name is Shawnell Ponder, and I am a 41-year old Freshman at the College of Coastal Georgia. Twenty Four years ago, I had a choice either go to college or join the Army? I chose the latter, and I would have to say it was the first major decision I made and the best! I never forgot about college, but with touring the world and doing all the fun Soldiering stuff, I just never found the time. Even though I still don't have the time, I am finally here. I manage to juggle work, be a wife, travel, spend time with my family and a mom to a college student.
This portfolio is for my English 1101 Composition course, I was terrified of writing coming into this class. This class has taught me to think outside of the box, dig deep, and have faith in myself. As you look at my portfolio, you will see my journey in this English 1101 composition class has taken me on.
