How to request account deletion

You can delete your account and associated cloud data using either method:

Option 1 — In the app (recommended)

1. Open Gridly.

2. Go to App settings (gear on the home screen) → Send feedback.

3. Send a message titled Account deletion request and include the email address tied to your account.

4. We will delete your account and cloud data within 30 days and confirm by email if you provided one.

Option 2 — Email

Send an Account deletion request to the developer contact email shown on the Gridly Google Play listing, including the email address used for your account.

What is deleted

When your account is deleted, we remove:

• Your authentication account (email/password or Google-linked account)

• Your profile row in our database

• Synced game statistics (Word Hunt, Grid Snap, Color Flow)

• Synced app and game settings (theme, reminders, difficulty preferences)

What is not deleted or may be retained

• Feedback or bug reports you previously submitted — may be kept for product improvement (contact email disassociated where possible).

• Custom puzzle invites you created — expire automatically after 90 days; may remain until expiry.

• Data on your device (guest play, local saves) — stays on your device until you uninstall the app or clear app storage; not stored in our cloud if you never signed in.

Guest users

If you played as a guest and never created an account, we do not hold an account or synced cloud data for you. Remove local data by uninstalling Gridly or clearing app storage in Android settings.
