School Counseling

The mission of Joseph D. Sharp Elementary School Guidance Department is to support the school community by integrating a comprehensive guidance program that will assist students in academic, career and personal/social domains. By working collaboratively to minimize barriers to success we can ensure that all our students learn at high levels according to the New Jersey Student Learning Standards and are able to learn at their fullest potential. This will allow children to develop a positive sense of self and become effective students, contributing citizens of character, and lifelong learners.
