HIB

The Anti- Bullying Bill of Rights Act (ABR) was signed into law on January 5, 2011. The Sharp Scool Counselor was appointed to be the Anti- Bullying Specialist (ABS) in the building.

The ABS investigates any reported HIB incident, implimenting the district's procedures and HIB policy, and completes the written HIB report and forms.

The ABS also chairs the school (climate)/saftey team (SST) meetings.

If you are volunteering at Sharp, pursuant to state law, all school volunteers need to be trained regarding the state’s anti-bullying law.
