Be sure to check out this year's winner of the South Carolina Picture Book award; "Can I be Your Dog?" by Troy Cummings. All the other nominees are amazing as well! Anytime you want to learn more about a certain subject and would like to do some research, SC Discus is a great place to start. If you haven't used it and would like some help, ask your librarian! Even if you're not doing any research right now, you should go take a look and become familiar with the resources listed. I promise it will be very helpful!
