Check out what's new in the library!
We have worked hard on creating a wonderful makerspace area in our library so that students can let their imaginations and creativity run wild! Come make something in this space today!
Our students have been working hard selecting books to read, review, and share with their classmates. We are learning how to share just enough information about a book to peek others' interests so they will want to read the book themselves, without giving away too much of the plot. We will post these on our Instagram page, so stay tuned!
Let the librarian ask you a few questions about your interests and pick out some books for you! Are you into sports? Do you love cats? Want to learn to draw or get better at your favorite video game? Want to try some new science experiments? Try letting the librarian recommend a book for you. You may find your new favorite book!
Go ahead and start looking ahead to April, because we will celebrate national poetry month! Students may choose a poem to record themselves reading--and acting out if its possible!--and we will post them on our instagram and show them at school! Some great choices are in Calef Brown's book of poetry, "Hypnotize a Tiger," so check it out today!
