A drowish prophet begins to preach about a new deity in Akhavaria. His preaching goes against the Covenant and the imperial authority of the Drows and becomes vastly followed by human slaves of the Drowish Empire.Â
The Battle of the Weeping Willow takes place, the Giant King Svagrim Stormholt is elected in a moot as High King of Karelius as a result.Â
The Prophet is arrested by drowish authorities and summarily executed. A massive slave revolt breaks out across the empire and northern kings join the struggle on the slaves' side. The Faith of the Old Spirit is founded, merging the prophet's faith with their own, venerating the prophet as a god.
The Elderborn Circle leaves the mainland of Vesteria and settles on an island off the western coast of the Drowish Empire and establishes their grove, Ach’ad-Cul, on the northern side of the island, following disagreements with the Druidic Conclave.
Karelius joins the war against the Drowish Empire on the side of the slave revolt. The Giant King Svagrim marches his army of ten thousand berserkers south.Â
The Battle of Adrolphus Pass takes place. The First Magister of the Drowish Empire is killed in battle against Karelian forces. Magister-Princess Xeris Al'Akhar is named First Magister.Â
In the final months of the year, Sintaria finds itself surrounded by its enemies. The Drowish Empire has effectively collapsed with only remnants fighting on.Â
The New Era is declared by the leaders of the rebellion, ending the Drowish supremacy over southern Vesteria.Â
The Death March takes place during the Siege of Sintaria. First Magister Xeris Al'Akhar uses her abilities in the dark arts and calls forth to shadowy forces to raise all the dead within and surrounding the city. She meets the rebel armies outside her city with her army of the dead. Amidst the battle, the Giant King Svagrim cuts through swarms of the undead and reaches her, cutting her in half and severing the link to the undead army.Â
The Sack of Sintaria takes place. Karelian Beserkers and Albian Knights storm the Lunar Palace and terrorize all those within. Amongst the dead and brutalized, the last Princess of the Drowish Empire is not found.Â
House Lysene takes control of Sintaria after the drowish surrender.Â
Remnants and loyalists of the Drowish Empire flee east into scorching deserts and establish the Triumvirate, a rump state led by three Drowish officers.Â
The Great Calamity takes place. The Endless Storm appears over the Storm Isles, home of the Sea Elves, and many islands and cities find themselves swallowed by the waves. The continent of Adroxia begins to be swallowed by waves as well after a large meteorite strikes an active volcano, sinking the continent. The dragonlords of the Wyndorin family leaves the continent on dragonback with their retinue and arrives on the southern coast of the Crown Isle, founding Wyndorin Bay.Â
The Adroxian Conquest begins. Lord Aerith Wyndorin and his family begins their campaign of conquest across half of Vesteria, landing first in the city of Hightower, taking it for their new capital, with his eldest child being at the forefront leading the campaigns in the Crownlands and Karelius, with the younger children conquering Akhavaria, Sarevia, and Kongrad. Orlys joins the Adroxians peacefully.Â
House Wyndorin of Hightower is founded as the Adroxian Empire is declared once all territories have been conquered, Aerith Wyndorin is crowned Emperor as Aerith the First.Â
House Reyne of Pale Tree is founded in Karelius.Â
Crown Prince Vezerys disappears while flying on dragonback across the Adroxian Sea.Â
Emperor Aerith I dies, having not named an heir on his deathbed following his son’s disappearance weeks prior.Â
The Adroxian Succession Crisis, known as the War of Three Dragons, begins, factions forming between the Emperor's grandchildren on who should be crowned Emperor. The first claimant was Princess Talion and her brother-husband, Prince Percivf. The second claimant was her brother Prince Rhaegal, who had a strong backing in Hightower. The third claimant, though disregarded, was the infant Princess Meriim, who was held hostage by Prince Rhaegal since the beginning of the crisis.Â
Prince Percivf Wyndorin is killed by Prince Rhaegal and Princess Meriim dies of sickness. Princess Talion commits suicide by jumping from her window in the Citadel, leaving Prince Rhaegal as the sole heir of the Dragon Throne, being crowned Emperor Rhaegal the Kinslayer.Â
Emperor Rhaegal dies mysteriously in his sleep, he is succeeded by his son, Arathor I.Â
Emperor Arathor I dies of old age, he is succeeded by his niece, Velen I.Â
Empress Velen I abdicates the throne in favour of her son, Caelyx I.Â
The wedding between Prince Arathor Wyndorin and Lady Alysanne Woodhaven takes place. Prince Hakim Lysene is blinded in his right eye during a trial by combat following a slight caused by Duke Othar Morgrave, with Prince Arathor fighting as the duke's champion.
Prince Kasimir Wyndorin is born to Prince Arathor Wyndorin and Lady Alysanne.
Emperor Aemor dies of old age, he is succeeded by his son, Arathor IV.
House Reyne is massacred during a wedding by House Bywaters, this event becoming known as the Night of Widows. Elias Reyne is the only known male survivor of the massacre.
Prince Hakim Lysene rebels against his niece, the nine years old Sultana Ilasifa Lysene, in an attempt to usurp her throne. Prince Kasimir Wyndorin is sent to Tuskhold, seat of House Morgrave, with a host of legionnaires, to assist the local lords in quelling the rebellion.
Prince Hakim Lysene is slain in a duel with Prince Kasimir Wyndorin, the Yer'veji nomads supporting the Akhavarian prince give up the rebellion, and the few remaining loyalists are forced to surrender.
The Dragon Legion is redirected on their march home to join the fight in the Akhavarian Reaches against the orcs, at the behest of the Church of the Old Spirit.
Prince Kasimir Wyndorin bonds with the dragon Darkclaws in a volcanic cavern underneath the Akhavarian Reaches.
Prince Kasimir Wyndorin burns down the orcish stronghold in the Akhavarian Reaches with dragonfire, the event becoming known as the Night of Fire, leading to the orcish surrender to the prince. Kasimir refuses the Church's demands and the orcs retain their independence, both nationally and religiously.
The events of Shadows of Pentaris begins.
