Component 3: Capacity Building and IEC Campaign
In conjunction with the establishment of the techno-demo on fertilizer-guide for rice in Occidental Mindoro, Bohol, and South Cotabato, capacity building activities were conducted to further stimulate technology transfer and raise awareness. A combination of lectures, group discussions, and hands-on activities were employed for a more participative learning process.
The participants included the TD cooperators, members of the SWISA, and other farmers in the barangay. Staff from the Provincial and Municipal Agriculture Offices (PAOs ad MAOs) also joined the activity. Invited lecturers were from the DA-BSWM, DA-RFOs, PAO and MAO.
