MEPS Liasion Supervisor
I’m currently serving as the MEPS Liaison Supervisor at the 333rd Recruiting Squadron in Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. In my role, I facilitate the enlistment process for potential Air Force recruits by closely coordinating with the Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). My focus is ensuring all paperwork is completed accurately and efficiently, while also supporting candidates through every step of their enlistment journey. I also work on building relationships within the community to promote Air Force opportunities and uphold the highest standards of professionalism and Air Force regulations.
I enlisted in the Air Force in October 2011 and I’m originally from Brownsville, Texas, where I graduated from Gladys Porter High School. My Air Force journey began with completing the Missile and Space Systems Electronic Maintenance Apprentice course at Vandenberg SFB, California, graduating in March 2012. Over the past 13 years, I’ve gained extensive experience in Missile Maintenance, served as a Missile Support Supervisor, and thrived as an Enlisted Accessions Recruiter. My assignments, including a key role in Laredo, Texas, have showcased my dedication to mission success, earning recognition from the Air Force Recruiting Service.
Additionally, during my time at Barksdale Air Force Base, I’ve had the privilege of serving as a Reserve Police Officer for the City of Bossier City. This role has allowed me to strengthen local law enforcement efforts and engage with the community, all while balancing my military responsibilities. Serving in both capacities has reinforced my commitment to public safety and my drive to positively impact the community.

*Each recruiter may run their process a little bit differently depending on the area they are assigned to*
Step 1: I will pre-screen you over the phone to check for any red flags that are disqualifying for Air Force service such as serious medical issues/law violations/drug use/etc. If you are pre-qualified, I will set up an initial appointment after a qualifying score on the AFQT Predictor Test (APT) .
Step 2: At your initial appointment you must come prepared with your original copies of your social security card, birth certificate, high school diploma, college transcripts (if applicable), and a State issued DL (State issue ID , U.S. Passport, etc.). I will go over any questions you have, to ensure you’re ready to join. I will build you a profile in our system and we will review all necessary paperwork. I will provide you a link to the online application (AFCEP) and a link to take a Pending Internet Computerized Adaptive Test (PiCAT).
*Air Force needs are currently mechanical aptitude jobs, electronics aptitude jobs, security forces, and special warfare positions.*
Step 3: Once your application (AFCEP) is complete we will review your application, and I will provide you with the PiCAT score. With an qualifying PiCAT score we can proceed with the next steps.
Step 4: Submit a scheduling request to military entrance processing station (MEPS) for your medical physical exam. The physical exam is not a PT test. The physical exam will be checking qualifying factors such as vision, hearing, blood tests, drug tests, etc
*If necessary schedule the ASVAB*
Step 5: Once scheduled for MEPS you will go down and complete your testing on the first day (TAPAS, ASVAB, DLAB etc.) . You’ll spend the night at a hotel free of charge and do your physical the next day. Once the testing and physical is complete you will know what jobs you are qualified for based on your academic and physical results. You will complete the oath of enlistment, swear into the Air Force, and join the Delayed Entry Program (DEP).
Step 6: The Delayed Entry Program (DEP) is everyone who is qualified and waiting to book a job or has booked a job and is waiting to ship. We will complete your DEP briefing and give you some time to review the jobs you are qualified for so you can make an educated decision. You will make a list of 10-20 specific jobs that you would like.
Step 7: Leave for Basic Military Training (BMT) and start your Air Force Career.
