SGOD stands for the School Governance and Operations Division within the Department of Education (DepEd) in the Philippines. This division operates at the Schools Division Office (SDO) level and plays a key role in overseeing the effective governance and management of public schools. The main functions of SGOD include:

• Providing strategic direction and technical support to schools and learning centers for smoother and more efficient operations
  
  

• Overseeing the implementation of DepEd programs, special events, and school-wide initiatives
  
  

• Coordinating monitoring and evaluation systems to ensure schools meet quality standards
