8th Grade Orientation
8th Grade Orientation
The reintroduction of the 8th Grade Orientation finally returned on April 1st. It was a great time with other clubs as Vice-President Joshua Vu, began arm wrestling other clubs. While we had a platform to describe our club, Joshua began competing with other clubs. Besides that, all of our members had a great time. We thank ASB for allowing us to promote our club, and other clubs for participating in the "NHD Annual Arm-wrestling convention / competition because I have nothing better to do."

NHD OC Competition
The annual National History Day Orange County Competition occurred on March 12th 2022. This event was the submission and judging of all National History Day projects across the county. Our project submissions were in separate types of media like; documentaries, exhibits, and podcasts. While it has been two years since the in person NHD competition, many memories were still made. And everyone's hard work has paid off, as the Segerstrom NHD Team has won several awards, from the Best Interview to a County Champion. Although this is our second year competing, it has been promisingly successful.

Winter Fest Fundraiser
After several successful Chick-Fil-A fundraisers, the NHD club participated in it's second NHD major fundraiser. The December 10th Winter Fest was a absolutely festive event, with lots active clubs. As we had miniature skeeball, and a Chick-Fil-A Booth. While it was not our first time fundraising, it was our first game booth. Our game booth had a great turnout for a first time. We thank all of our club members for taking time to help volunteer to run both booths. It was a great time participating with other clubs and it was financially successful.

Pumpkin Fest Fundraiser
On October 28th we had our very first event fundraiser. During that time, we had sold lots of Jarritos with a variety of flavors. While This was a successful time as we had sold out of our stock swiftly and enjoyed the event with all the other clubs. We are hoping to expand our stock and options next fundraiser.
