1. Organized Sips and Secrets: a social event for the May 12 Women in Math event May 2025 where we streamed "Secrets of the Surface: The mathematical Vision of Maryam Mirzakhani" after a social happy hour.

2. Led a short professional developement seminar on "Interviews: common questions and how to answer them" in Würzberg in May 2024 and in Leipzig March 2023.

3. From Summer 2023-December 2024 I served as the Equal Opportunities Officer 

1. • Helped write the institute Gender Equality Plan for 2023-2026

   • Proposed and helped implement access to gender neutral bathrooms throughout the institute

   • Hosted a monthly FLINTAQ* Lunch at the institute

   • Attend interview process for scientists and staff, ensuring fair processes

   • First point of contact for harassment complaints

2. On 23.06.2023 I led the Sudoku activity (in German) at the Long Night of the Sciences in Leipzig.

3. On 13.03.2023 I gave a tutorial for Julia in Linear Algebra at Women in Data Science Alexandria. It provides a great first step for getting into Julia from the perspective of network analysis.

A picture at the top of a mountain seems fitting, since the paper writing process is quite the feat.

2. Co-editor for a special issue of Research in the Mathematical Sciences: "Cutting EDGE Mathematics: Celebrating the 25th Anniversary of the Enhancing Diversity in Graduate Education Program"

3. In fall 2022 I served on the Postdoc hiring committee for the Nonlinear algebra group at the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig

4. In the 2020-2021 School year I served as the Graduate Representative to the graduate admissions committee. Duties included input on building a fair and equitable rubric system, organizing and running virtual visiting events, and connecting the incoming students to the current network of graduate students.

I have been a graduate mentor for the Washington Experimental Mathematics Lab (WXML) which is a part of the larger organization Geometry Labs United (GLU)

I cofounded the WDRP in 2018 which pairs undergraduates with graduate students for a reading course, with a focus on recruiting women and members of traditionally underrepresented minority groups.

I started and ran the WDRP with Kellie MacPhee.

Winter 2021

 I mentored a project where we worked through the book "Mathematics for Sustainability"

In 2018 I was the graduate mentor for the Park City Mathematics Undergraduate Program Experimental Mathematics Lab.

I was vice president of the UW student chapter in Autumn of 2018. I also participated in mentoring projects to connect and welcome both undergraduates and incoming graduate students.
