I was an organizer for the following events

1. September 2023-April 2024, Leipzig: Weekly geometry seminar with two speakers each week, with J. Farre, F. Mazzoli, K. Tsouvalas. 

2. 13-15 November 2023, Leipzig:  Workshop on Geometry and Machine Learning with D. Taha and A. Wienhard.

3. 11 July 2023, Eindhoven Minisymposium on Reconstruction of algebraic curves from analytic presentations, SIAM Conference on Applied Algebraic Geometry with Y. Mandelshtam.

4. 23-25 November 2022, Osnabrück: Stochastic Geometry Workshop with P. Breiding, M. Reitzner, and A. Rosana

5. 12-16 September 2022, Berlin: Minisymposium on Translation Surfaces DMV meeting

1. From Summer 2023-December 2024 I served as the Equal Opportunities Officer 

   • Helped write the institute Gender Equality Plan for 2023-2026

   • Proposed and helped implement access to gender neutral bathrooms throughout the institute

   • Hosted a monthly FLINTAQ* Lunch at the institute

   • Attend interview process for scientists and staff, ensuring fair processes

   • First point of contact for harassment complaints

2. On 23.06.2023 I led the Sudoku activity (in German) at the Long Night of the Sciences in Leipzig.

3. On 13.03.2023 I gave a tutorial for Julia in Linear Algebra at Women in Data Science Alexandria. It provides a great first step for getting into Julia from the perspective of network analysis.

A picture at the top of a mountain seems fitting, since the paper writing process is quite the feat.

1. In fall 2022 I served on the Postdoc hiring committee for the Nonlinear algebra group at the Max Planck Institute in Leipzig

2. In the 2020-2021 School year I served as the Graduate Representative to the graduate admissions committee. Duties included input on building a fair and equitable rubric system, organizing and running virtual visiting events, and connecting the incoming students to the current network of graduate students.

I have been a graduate mentor for the Washington Experimental Mathematics Lab (WXML) which is a part of the larger organization Geometry Labs United (GLU)

I cofounded the WDRP in 2018 which pairs undergraduates with graduate students for a reading course, with a focus on recruiting women and members of traditionally underrepresented minority groups.

I started and ran the WDRP with Kellie MacPhee.

Winter 2021

 I mentored a project where we worked through the book "Mathematics for Sustainability"

In 2018 I was the graduate mentor for the Park City Mathematics Undergraduate Program Experimental Mathematics Lab.

I was vice president of the UW student chapter in Autumn of 2018. I also participated in mentoring projects to connect and welcome both undergraduates and incoming graduate students.
