Error: A sign comes up with text reading "Your Xbox can't recognize this disc. Make sure it's an Xbox game, DVD movie, or audio CD. Also check to see if the disc is dirty or damaged. Remove the disc to continue".
Technique: Just the sign coming up.
Avaliability: Seen if you put a foreign disc on the Xbox. It can also appear if you insert a disc in reverse.
Error: Same as before, but the text reads "You need to connect the DVD Playback Kit receiver to a controller port to watch movies. Remove the disc to continue".
Technique: Same as before.
Avaliability: Seen if you put a DVD on the Xbox without the DVD Playback Kit connected.
NOTE: Skip to 3:00 to see the error.
Error: When the Xbox turns on, the ring blinks green and orange.
Technique: The ring blinking.
Avaliability: Seen if the AV cable isn't connected to the Xbox.
Legacy: This error doesn't appear on the Xbox 360, even if the AV cable isn't connected.
NOTE: Skip to 1:19 to see the error.
Error: Same as before, but the ring only blinks green.
Technique: Same as before.
Avaliability: Your GPU/CPU/RAM may have to be corrupted for this error to appear.
Legacy: Just like the previous error, it doesn't appear on the Xbox 360.

Technique: Same as before.
Avaliability: Seen if there's something really wrong with the Xbox, such as dead necessary parts/fans.
Legacy: This error would later appear on the Xbox 360 and its other models.
Error: The Xbox startup plays, then it cuts to a black screen with text reading "Your Xbox requires service. Please call Xbox Customer Support" in 6 languages (English, German, Spanish, Italian, French and Japanese). There's a error code on the top left.

13 - Dashboard launch fail.
14 - Error loading dashboard.
16 - Clock cannot be set.
20 - Dashboard failed to launch.
21 - Unspecific/generic error.
Variant: Some error codes have different text reading "Service required. Call Customer Support" in 9 languages (English, Japanese, German, Spanish, Italian, French, Portuguese, Chinese and Korean).

Avaliability: Seen if there's something really wrong with the Xbox, necessary components, BIOS, etc.
There was an error which was caused by trying to connect to Xbox Live using a modified console, which caused it to crash with a static red light, same green text screen but the entire text was Japanese Katakana.
Another error that occurs while trying to connect to Xbox Live after the original Xbox Live support end, which causes a green text screen with a No Connection code.
