Discord: A very good way for veterans and new creators to maximize their potential earnings is by getting advice, quick tips, promotions, support, and growing your OF/Fansly to gain more subs on our Discord where YOU [sexworkers] are the boss, not some guy/girl profiting from your hard work.
Facebook: Facebook would be one of the top social media platforms I would avoid trying to promote unless you do not care that your family and friends know that you are creating content. Facebook is also one of the most restrictive social media platforms for anyone creating content as they will ban you from posting for 3 days the first time, 7 days the next time, and 30 days the time after that for promoting you create content if you are reported by anyone at all to Facebook. Use with caution!
Instagram: I know Instagram is a really good way to promote as long as you do not get reported or caught by the AI where your account gets banned as I know hundreds of creators that lost profiles with thousands of fans after being caught or reported so their profiles were immediately removed. Instagram is owned by Facebook so they are extremely restrictive on anyone creating content so if you are using this platform to promote your content make sure you do not link any of the actual platforms to your profile or any of your photos as it is a good way to get banned. I would avoid using any #'s that mention anything about creating or selling content as well as using any hashtag that mentions the content platforms such as Onlyfans, Fansly, Pornhub, etc... Use with caution!
TikTok: Tiktok is another very restrictive social media platform that is very good to promote content on as long as you are not reported to work caught for doing promotions. I would say as of here lately it is one of the top platforms to promote content on just keep your wits so that you are not banned from the platform as it takes a lot of work to build up a good following. I am starting to see a lot of sex workers getting sponsors for doing live videos after you reach the 1K follower mark as I have a good friend that is an exotic dancer that just received an apparel sponsor for her work on Tiktok. Use with caution!
Twitter: I used to have a lot of faith in Twitter being one of the most sex worker-friendly social media platforms until later as they are now flagging a lot of profiles as NSFW and placing a filter over any posts that you make. I know the government is placing a lot of pressure on social media companies trying to make them accountable for what people post on their platforms but for the moment as long as you are not directly reported by someone Twitter is one that usually will let you post for nudes and pornographic videos. I know a lot of people like to use hashtags when they are just starting out to grab quick followers just know a lot of them are Bots and when you are using hashtags related to creating content you are more likely to be shadowbanned by Twitter's AI. I always try to tell people when they ask for advice on building followers there are really no good shortcuts it is all about hard work and determination so just keep working at it the best that you can. I know almost every model I talk to on Twitter including all of those in but groups will not retweet anything with a link or #'s in the actual tweet out of the fear of being shadowbanned so the best advice to grow the fastest is to avoid posting uncensored content, using hashtags, and put all links in the comment of your Tweet. Use with caution!
Reddit:
Reddit would be the top mainstream social media website for sex workers to promote content as long as you take your time to read the rules of the subreddit you are posting in as many of them do not let you promote content in them, mention it in other subreddits, or have that you create content anywhere on your profile. There are subreddits that strictly want free content without any promoting directly in their subreddit you can have it on your profile though. You can find good subreddits that will let you add a link as long as it is in the comments do you just have to go through all of the ones that fit the content you are creating just do all of your due diligence breeding the rules to make sure you are not in violation of them has the moderators are pretty ruthless when it comes to content creators so most bands are permanent. I will say if you get banned on Reddit make sure if you start a new profile that you are using a VPN as Reddit often does an IP ban which means even if you start another profile Reddit's AI we'll see you created it with the device that they banned you on so your new profile will likely get banned immediately. The platform is safe just follow the subreddit rules VERY CLOSELY!
Fetlife:
FetLife is a fetish and kinks social media platform that does allow uploading pornographic photos and videos although you must pay their monthly fee or pay for a lifetime subscription if you want to see videos. I will be 100% clear it is not a platform that is going to pay you for posting content even though it is a good place to promote you are not going to make money directly from the website. I will leave this entirely up to you as you are the Creator so only do what you feel comfortable with posting as there are creators posting full nudes as well as those posting only censored photos or wearing a mask that is still doing extremely well selling their content. Sex worker friendly!
Snapchat: Snapchat has two ways that you can utilize it for promotions:
1. A place to post censored or full nude photos to promote your content platform. One benefit ss you will be able to see who is screenshotting your content which is helpful to keep it from being used to scam others.
2. Use Snapchat as a premium content platform where you post full nude content charging a monthly fee or a one-time fee using Cashapp or another payment for Lifetime access. the benefit of using it this way is that it does save you from paying a percentage to a mainstream Content platform like Onlyfans. Use with caution!
Tinder: Tinder is only really good for getting people to follow you on Instagram or Snapchat as you will likely get immediately banned for mentioning any sales of content. I always tell people you can quickly gain followers if you mention your Instagram or Snapchat on your Tinder profile just know it is highly likely you get banned if you are reported for selling content on your profile or in your DMs. Use with caution!
Spin the wheel: A fun way to engage buyers on Onlyfans or Fansly.
I know there are a lot of content creators that freely post full nudes and still make extremely good money on their Onlyfans or other platforms, of course, there are those guys that will say why would I pay when you are posting it for free? I know this is a logic when people try to use "why would I pay to see you nude when Pornhub gives it for free?" which is something no content creator is ever going to be able to escape just know if someone is willing to pay they are going to pay you for the content you create which is why I always recommend do not give anyone a free preview as they are already getting that from what you are posting as a promotion.
