About Us

The Shedders are based at a well-equipped workshop at the Abacus Furniture Project, Greatness Road, Sevenoaks. The members include people with experience in joinery who can pass their skills on and others who are still learning. 

We have enough room for roughly 7 members attending each of the 3 morning we are open. Currently we are at that capacity but if you are interested to understand more please do not let that put you off from making contact. Despite being called a "Men's" Shed we have some female members also.

We produce all kinds of amazing conservation products such as bat boxes and bird boxes. Some of the bird boxes have been produced as kits for schools and local community groups to assemble. We find ingenious ways of recycling old timber and repairing broken or unwanted furniture, creating 'new' items. We also take commissions for items to be made to order such as garden benches, flower troughs and Nesting Islands.
