Seung Geun Jung

Seung Geun Jung is a Staff Engineer at the Samsung Electronics Semiconductor R&D Center.
He received the B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from Korea University, Seoul, Korea, in 2016 and 2022, respectively, for his work on emerging CMOS logic and DRAM memory devices. In 2022, he began working at the Samsung Electronics Semiconductor Research & Development Center in South Korea, having been sponsored by Samsung Electronics Device Solutions since 2019. He is currently focused on device performance improvement and process integration for advanced semiconductor devices, especially in the 3nm, 2nm, 1.4nm, and below technology nodes.
He has worked on exploring and demonstrating the feasibility of new technological elements and integration schemes, as well as modeling for technology scaling down.
