PTA Meeting

1) Fun Run- Audrey Huse
a. Rescheduled due to weather to May 20, 2025
b. Rocky Mountain Day Camp can no longer supply climbing wall with date
change
c. Will have inflatable obstacle course
d. Will need more help with set up
e. Have made just under $8k to date
2) PTA Roles for next year
a. No interest yet
b. Principal Stein will speak to some families/ teachers for ideas
c. Principal Stein mentioned that some PTA boards have moved to quarterly
meetings
3) Budgeting
a. Current balance around $96K.
i. Need to subtract Fun Run and Teacher Appreciation Expenses still
ii. What is made from now until end of year through spirit night and
fun run will be placed in reserve
b. Next year:
i. Connie will drop check for $65,000 to Alyss ASAP for paras for next
year.
ii. Principal Stein requesting a set of new ipads for the new reading
curriculum for K-2 to work on.
1. Committing $1,000 toward ipads for next year
iii. Will need to address Adventure Course and Kiln
iv. Currently around $700 extra in budget
1. $350 to add to fundraising budget
2. $350 to add to hospitality budget

PLEASE NOTE: You do not need to be a member to attend the meetings.
However, you do need to be a member to vote on motions during PTA meetings and serve on the PTA Board.

At Superior Elementary, we are fortunate to have a dedicated Parent-Teacher Association (PTA) and exceptional teachers who go above and beyond to ensure our children receive a top-notch education. By supporting the PTA and our teachers, we can help provide the resources and tools necessary to help educate our children both academically and socially.
SES PTA membership costs just $10 per family--sign up for the 2024-2025 school year today by selecting that option in the SES PTA store or clicking the link below. Please note that while we encourage all parents to attend and participate in PTA meetings, membership is required in order to vote on the budget and other agenda issues.
