Attend PTA Meetings 

The PTA has a monthly meeting held in the evenings so that parents and teachers can attend. All meetings will be at 6:00 PM MT – location may vary, All meetings will be held in-person at Superior Elementary School. For the 2024-2025 school year, the PTA meetings will be:

Volunteer for Specific Events

As part of the PTA's mission to build a strong community. The PTA frequently hosts events and needs volunteers to help make these events an amazing experience. Whether you'd like to serve on the event planning committee or just volunteer during event, we're happy to connect you with the team that's planning the event so you can get involved.  Reach out to us at superiorelempta@gmail.com for more information about the events we have in progress and further out on the horizon. 

Become a Room Parent

The PTA is seeking enthusiastic parents to be Room Parents in each of our wonderful classrooms! The PTA Room Parent is a volunteer position that provides essential help to the classroom teacher in organizing activities both inside and outside the classroom setting. The Homeroom Parent also acts as a liaison between the class parents, the PTA, and the main teacher.

• Communicate with parents: The Room Parent will be the primary PTA contact for parents in each classroom. This includes sending out regular emails in collaboration with the PTA Board 

• Organize classroom activities: As needed, Room Parents will work with teachers to plan and organize classroom activities, such as field trips and class parties

• Assist with classroom management: Room Parents may be asked to help classroom volunteers to assist the teacher, including soliciting volunteers and maintaining a task list for volunteers

• Be a resource for parents: Room Parents will be available to answer questions about the classroom and the school

• Represent the PTA: Room Parents will represent the PTA and encourage parents to become involved in school activities  

We are looking for Room Parents who are:

• Available to volunteer at least 1 hour per week

• Great communicators

• Organized and efficient

• Talented at working with children and adults

• Members of the PTA
