Mark Laughlin

The Laughlins made the move to Superior in 2021 and quickly fell in love with the welcoming and friendly community. The warmth and kindness of our neighbors made them feel at home from day one. When their son Peter started Kindergarten at SES, the outpouring of support and dedication from the SES staff was nothing short of incredible. Wanting to give back to the place that has given them so much, Mark joined the PTA to support the school and staff who work tirelessly to make Superior a special school and community. 

Audrey Huse

Audrey is new to Superior as of 2024 when she returned to her home state of Colorado after twenty years.  She has two girls at SES, Naomi in third grade, Salma in first, and a preschooler at Eldorado. She is looking forward to being involved in the PTA as Vice President and hopes to contribute to the school’s welcoming and inclusive culture. 

Jen Wahlers

Jen and her family moved to Superior in 2023 after living in Denver for the past 16 years. She has three sons, Henry (8th grade), Ben (5th grade), and Jack (2nd grade). The Superior community, and in particular this school, have been so welcoming to her family. It was immediately apparent that this was a special school. Jen decided to join the PTA board as Secretary to help with the necessary fundraising and community building efforts that ensure Superior Elementary’s continued success and status as one of the best elementary schools in Colorado! When Jen isn’t helping the PTA, she works in Historic Preservation or can been seen chauffeuring her kids to one of their many sports events.

Connie Liu

Connie and her family moved to Superior in late 2020.  She has an 8-year-old son, Conan, and a 2-year-old daughter, Sasha.  Conan is in third grade with Ms. Arnow.  Connie joined the PTA last year because she wanted to be more involved in the community.  When not at work or spending time with family, Connie enjoys knitting with movies or TV shows or being outside like hiking or paddleboarding.
