What a wonderful and memorable time to spend our night listening and sharing perspectives on various things!!

Serey Sophorn Talk #6 was successfully conducted on the 28th October 2023. Throughout the event, our guest speakers have touched on inspiring experiences and point of view from what challenges they have faced throughout their lives to how they developed themselves in both education and mindset which they view to help them become a better version of themselves and as well as for society.

The event had two panel discussions on the topics of “ Behind the story of success and working towards one's own potential, how does one go on and bridge that gap between now and the opportunities?” and “What does reaching one’s potential look like? (Life Goals and Society) How do you set the North Star?”.

In the first panel discussion, our guest speakers shared how they overcame their fears, prepared themselves for getting a scholarship and pursuing a higher degree, and addressed the importance of contributing to social work.

In the second panel discussion; moreover, the speakers emphasized on the need to maintain hobbies while improving careers and education that the world needs. One of the valuable experiences to be shared would probably be how our passions are different and there is nothing wrong with trying and failing before finding the real passion and stepping on the right stone.

The event would not have been successful without having our participants sharing and discussing with guest speakers on the aforementioned topics while opening up to different perspectives respectfully.

We would like to express our heartfelt appreciation to our guest speakers for joining us and sharing a wonderful discussion. Also, a big thanks to our team for making the event run smoothly!
