Hello Grizzlies! 

Welcome to the 2024-2025 school year! 

My name is Ms. Orozco, and I am honored to be your 8th-grade counselor! I am so excited to get to know all of you and look forward to helping students navigate their middle school experience. Middle school can be a little overwhelming sometimes, so I want you to know that I am here for you if you ever need help or support! We'll get through it together! 

School counselors meet and support students’ social and emotional, academic, and college/career needs. We help maximize students’ potential for academic success, advocate for students and collaborate with staff and parents to best support students at school.

The counseling office is a safe place for students to visit when they need to talk or when they need any kind of academic, social, or emotional support during the school day.

I want all of my students to have a successful and positive middle school experience, so please don't hesitate to reach out if you need any support!
