Functional Nano-Materials Research Laboratory (FNMR lab.)
We are exploring the relationship between the structure and property of nanomaterials based on nanoscience to realize the high- & multi-functional metal/ceramic/polymer and composite nanomaterials.
Our research begins with developing and optimizing an efficient and versatile synthetic process that can precisely control the structure of nanomaterials. By systematically analyzing the physicochemical properties of synthesized nanomaterials and logically interpreting the results, we are conducting research to establish the correlation between process-structure-property and to maximize properties by optimizing the process and structure. Our ultimate goal is to apply the developed nanomaterials to various technological fields of energy, environmental, information, biological, and space technology to solve the multiple problems facing humankind and improve humanity's lives.
