We are part of VLSI & Nanoelectronics group of EEE Department, IIT Guwahati. We focus on development of various electronic sensor (on various platforms including silicon, papers, flexible), wireless sensor networks, IOT enabled Sensors, AI-ML for sensor data analysis etc. The applications of these sensors are very vast i.e. from healthcare to spacecrafts. To achieve the objectives of the projects, we broadly classify our thrust area into four groups:

We have a vast area of interest with a focus on exploring new avenues of sensor development. The group uses various electronic transduction techniques such as resistive, capacitive, p-n and other diodes, Field Effect Transistors, TFTs, HEMTs, optical, piezoelectric, diodes,  electrochemical etc. utilizing a variety of advanced functional materials for development of a variety of sensors including chemical, bio, force and textile, acceleration, flow, pressure, humidity, temperature etc. Please contact any group member to discuss more on your work!

About our Logo

Logo of the group is inspired by the four objectives of the group i.e.  device modeling, device fabrication, interface circuit design, and data analysis. It also denotes the four probe measurements, and four terminal devices that the group utilizes more.

The outward grow of the circles shows that the group is ever growing.

The encirlced 'N' denotes our commitment to develop miniaturized devices.

The group is really thankful to Shubham Ramesh Vernekar, a student of M.Design (Electronic Product Design) at Department of Design, IIT Guwahati for designing our logo.
