Sensora Therapy is a completely unique technology providing a combination of:
Light - to stimulate neural activity in the brain and communication between the two hemispheres.
Colour - to further stimulate as above, plus sensations in the body and psyche. Depending on the colour, the effects will vary. E.g. Red is highly energising and Blue is deeply calming. Each individual will also respond to each colour in their own unique way.
Sound - Each program has a unique soundscape which was created in sync with the progressions of colour, bringing you more deeply into a state of receptivity and relaxation.
Vibration - Gentle, massage-like vibrations that pass through your body via the chair.
Throughout this experience, you will be seated inside a dome-shaped room that allows for very unique acoustics and a complete immersion in the colours projected.

for an in depth summary of how the Sensora operates.
Sensora is a gentle and integrative therapy with remarkable energising, relaxing and regenerative benefits.
It works incredibly alone, and can have a further enhanced healing effect when paired with other therapies.
A clinical trial run in 2013 on the Light Modulation process as used in the Sensora, by Dr. M.J. Ross, Dr. P. Guthrie (Midwestern State University, Texas, USA) and J.C. Dumont (Trinity Western University, BC, Canada) published in the 'Advances in Mind-Body Medicine Journal', Vo.27, No.4.,
has indicated that the therapy may be of benefit to a range of health issues, such as:
- Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD)
- Depression and burnout, seasonal affective disorder (SAD), chronic fatigue
- Insomnia
- Recovery, re-education, ergo therapy
- Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Anxiety, distress, mental tension
- Chronic pain, fibromyalgia
- Palliative care

Leave that to us!
Before your first session, you will be asked to complete a simple and confidential questionnaire containing a few questions about your general physical and mood-related health. This allows us to design a program, or series of programs, tailored to your needs at that time so you receive optimal benefit from the therapy.
Each program will be discussed with you prior to your session. At this time, if you have any concerns or queries please discuss this with your facilitator.
Sensora Therapy works incredibly alone, and can have a further enhanced healing effect when paired with other therapies.
Currently, there are no known contraindications to Sensora therapy.
However, we do advise that as the Sensora uses mild pulsations of light and colour to stimulate the brain, people who do/have suffered from epilepsy or any form of severe light sensitivity may be at mild risk, so this treatment is not recommended for you.
If you have any queries about existing health conditions and whether or not they may be effected, please get in touch with us at sensoratherapyfreo@gmail.com
