About

Sense to Synapse is an annual networking event for scientists conducting research on the biology of sensory transduction, subsequent neural processing and perception.

We hope to welcome you for Sense to Synapse 2019 in the Smilow Seminar Room at New York University Langone Health in New York.

We will have 4 keynote speakers and additionally 8 short talks selected from the submitted abstracts as well as a poster session during the lunch break:

This is a unique opportunity for scientists to present their work in front of an expert audience!

The previous meetings were all great successes with about 200 participants and featuring keynote talks from a number of prominent scientists, such as:

The first “Sense to Synapse” meeting was held on 19th April 2012 at Columbia University Morningside Campus in New York City. It was organized by Christopher Bergevin (Columbia University) and Dáibhid Ó Maoiléidigh (Rockefeller University).
