Classroom decorations should be meaningful and aesthetically pleasing. It's nice to have cute & funny posters plastered all over the walls, but it's even more important for that content not to become a distraction. When I decorate my classroom, I try to use things that could facilitate and reinforce learning. I also try to organize things in such a way that the class flows smoothly and I can easily find where everything is.
