Project Description: For the Solar Decathlon Project, our job is to develop a system that monitors multiple sensors within the solar house being built by the Solar Decathlon team, and store the information from the sensors to a database.

The sensors that will be monitored will cover a wide array of different information that will provide more detail on how the solar house interacts with its environment, as well as the people living it. Some examples of these sensors are indoor and outdoor temperature, humidity, power production, and also power consumption.

After recording this information to our database, our final goal is to build a web application that will allow for multiple users, including the building's owner, to view the recorded information in our database. In doing so, we hope to provide the engineers who are creating the solar house with a better knowledge of how their designs are working in a real life scenario.
